Dr.
Long Ghost

Dr.
Long Ghost is a rapper hailing from PA. He attended
New York University where he received a B.A.
in English Literature in 1998, then moved back
in with his mother to pursue a music career.
His interests include kung fu and samurai cinema,
military history, cooking, stationary bike riding
and drunk driving. He once, while attempting
to drive sober, totalled his car and had the
pleasure of watching it catch fire and burn.
All proceeds from the sale of Dr. Long Ghost's
album go towards his drug habit. No animals
were harmed in the making of This Peasant's
Life (although quite a few Buds were shotgunned
before the recording of the song Liquor).
Dr. Long Ghost's influences include Ween, Wu-Tang
Clan, Beastie Boys, Massive Attack, Lunachicks,
Notorious B.I.G. and the History Channel.
While
many of his lyrics may seem outlandish and even
offensive, they are often exaggerated for comedic
effect, with the exception of those referring
to his drug use, sexual prowess, preeminence
in the rap world, misogyny and mental instability,
all of which are quite true.
